Occasionally I will be listing old and reproduction badges from my Dad's collection. T are those that I'm fairly certain are authentic because he took the time to photograph and catalogue (such as this one), and those I'm fairly certain are reproductions. Then t are those I'm not sure about. Please examine closely and ask me any questions. If you purchase a badge that I have represented as authentic and find out it is not, I will refund your money plus postage. I know t are a lot of people who make a living selling fake reproductions and I'm not one of them. If you have any comments or concerns about these badges please by all means contact me, I will post all information that is helpful in determining authenticity. So we go:

A SPECIAL OFFICER badge, looks like brass. The center is an engraving of a wooden sailing ship flanked by two Stallions. An eagle I believe is perched on the top. I can't make out the writing on the ribbon, it's mostly rubbed off, I almost didn't notice it. Was informed by a fellow ebayer that it represents the State of Pennsylvania. T is a stain as you can see in the upper right corner. I think this is the real deal, I can't find any to compare it to on the internet, so any observations are most welcome. Measures 1 3/4" x 2 1/4".

Thanks for lookin!
