Listed is a heavy (22 lbs) large (17" high by 12" diameter) brown and cream 5 gallon jug. I don't know much about pottery jugs, but I bought this from a fiesty 80+ year old lady who said she doesn't know w it came from but her mother used it for as long as she remembers for a water jug. You can't read the blue writing around the Indian head and I can't seem to find out information about it. Maybe a collector who sees this can send me any info about it. It has what looks like a 5 with a dash after it on the bottom - seems to have been hand written in the clay. The jug is in great condition with only one sizeable knick that I've shown in a pic - maybe half an inch. It has imperfections in the jug itself during the making, such as some rough spots in the texture, but is in close to perfect condition with no cracks or significant chips.
