Offered for auction is this neat old vintage VU-LIGHTER CIGARETTE LIGHTER . Features a red colored band, and a ' BUDWEISER " Anheuser Busch BEER old style logo insert on the inside of the clear tank . The insert has the logo on both sides (red and blue on one side, and just blue on the other). The lighter is NOT marked SCRIPTO anyw that we can find?, but has all the remaining markings and Patent numbers of all that we have ever seen. Marked VU-LIGHTER on both sides of the wind guard. The bottom is marked; U.S. PATS. - D-180,401 - 2,881,608 - CANADA - PAT.60RD.57 - MADE U.S.A . Measures 2 3/4" tall, 1 9/16" wide, and 1/2" thick. Condition is very good. Photos above and below taken with the tank filled. Shows overall general wear and soiling from use, storage and handling, with the wheel / flint mechanism loose, and the as to be expected various light surface scratches and tiny dings and t, but no chips, cracks, dents or other damage that we can see.
