Just out of a local estate is this great German beer stein..Im sure it is from the early 1900's and is stamped .4 Litre.. It measures about 5 3/4" to the rim top, not including the lid.. The maker is a mystery to me.. Any info is appreciated..It reads; Kaiser Wilhelm- Denkmal...Coblenz a.Rhein u.a.d Mosel. "In Freud Und LeidTreujederzeit".. This is a great early stein with bright colored glazing.. Im selling it as I found it.. The stein has not been cleaned and could use a good scrub inside and out... T are NO chips, cracks, hairlines, impacts, crazing or repairs.. The lid has a glaze skip(shown in photo). This is NOT a chip... All the metalwork is intact but a bit dirty... This is a BOLD and FUN stein that will add to any quality collection!! Please bid with confidence.
