For your consideration today is this very neat looking cup and saucer set that we believe is from around the 1920's or 30's, as an esimate, with the item featuring the Blue Earth Minnesota High School, with the items being made by the Carlsbad China in Austria.This is one beautiful cup and saucer set that remains in very fine shape with no main problems at all, the colors are still very nice yet with no fading or age discoloring, the saucer is marked with Carlsbad China Made in Austria for some company that has part of the name that we cannot quite make out, but looks like Olleman's? Bazaar Blue Earth Minn, or maybe Clleman's?, both pieces feature a neat picture of the old brick high school in Blue Earth Minnesota, the cup is especially nice with no stress cracks or lines, t are no chips or marks, the color is just plain neat, t is some patina or paint cracking lines on the surface, but when holding up to the bright light, it shows no problems structure wise at all! The cup measures 2" in diameter at the top and a tiny bit over 2" tall, t is just a wee bit of surface wear, but really is a neat piece! The saucer measures 4.25" in diameter, it does have one very light stress line that just shows some in the bright light at the front, and you can just see it lightly from the back, but it is not weakening or damaging the saucer at all as it really shows quite fine as well, you really do have to search a little to even find that line since it blends in so well, the color is even better than the cup and just has some very, very minimal surface wear, the back shows the stamp that reads well for most of it, t are no chips or bad marks at all, the bottom rim that it sits on has a couple teeny dings that are really nothing much at all, and overall is one fine set that might have gold painted around the edges. This is one dandy display item for any related collection of Blue Earth or Minnesota items, and would be an excellent set for that special older person at Christmas time!!
