Old Case XX Bulldog model 5172. Based on the limited research that I have done it appears that this knife was manufactured prior to 1970. I am not an expert however and have relied on for my informantion. T are no stars that I can see underneath the USA which would indicate a post 1970 date of manufacture. This knife is in mint condition and comes with original box.Markings CASE XX with USA underneath. 5172 stamped on opposite side of the blade near handle. Etched Hand Made in the USA stamped on one side of blade with etched bulldog on other.Insurance is mandatory on this item. Buyer pays for shipping and insurance.
