Sorry, but am not sure about date or metal type. It looks like it might be brass under the black paint - it is rather heavy - Cast brass/cast iron? Eagle Flag Topper measures about 6" tall, not including the ball & post. Post is threaded. The ball is a little dented on the bottom & has silver paint on it in a couple of spots. In Very Good USED Condition. The black paint is worn off on many places, but I do not see any rust or other damage. One silver paint spot on body. Can't see a maker mark. Selling as is.
