Up for auction is a Cast Iron John Deere Letter Holder. It looks old, but I'm not sure of it's age. I was fortunate to find such a nice piece in the bottom of a box that I recently purchased at an Estate Auction. The entire item is made of cast iron and weighs over 8 lbs. That is why the S&H charges seem a little high for this item. Be sure to check out all the pictures I've included in this listing! You'll not be disappointed!! This is a No Reserve Auction! Good Luck! The holder is very unique as it has several features that include the following: The top circle is in the shape of a belt with a buckle at the top. The famous Dear stradels the center with the words "JOHN DEERE" around the outside. Below the dear, it says Moline, ILL 1847. Below the circle is the pocket which holds letters, the mail or envelopes. The entire holder has 3 holes for screws or nails so that you can hang it in your favorite room. The entire piece measures about 17 and 1/4" tall. The top circle is approx. 10 and 3/8 x 12 and 1/4". The letter pocket is approx. 6" high and about 6 and 5/8" wide. The pocket is a little over 1" deep. *GENERAL INFORMATION* Please e-mail me if you have any questions or comments. All our items are sold as is.
