This is the last of 4 reflecting galvanometers I have. The other 3 were sold earlier. This one is identical to one of the others and is an early 1900s brass and iron- mirror reflecting galvanometer. Imprinted on the cylinder at the bottom is- The Chicago Laboratory Supply & Scale Co. Inside, it appears that the bottom coil wire is still attached to the floating coil, but I don't know about the top suspension wire. The screws show some rust and t is some rust inside the rectangular coil window, but most of the lacquer on the unpainted brass is still t The 3 legs are black painted brass and the front 2 have adjustable thumb screws for leveling the instrument. One of the 2 screws (or a thumb screw) at the top of the brass tube and 1 thumb screw on 1 of the electrical wire terminals on the side is missing, plus the rim around the circular mirror window is dented. Fortunately the round glass window is unbroken. The instrument stands about 11 3/8 inches tall as seen in my pictures.Winner pays Shipping for 7 lbs.
