Really handsome old Chinese necklace from a local Dallas estate, either Jade or some type of similar green hardstone. Guaranteed real stones and not glass, no air bubbles detected on honest examination through a loupe in strong light. Hand-knotted silk cord, as shown. Clasp is hand-made silver gilt and shows the old ca. 1900 - 1940 Chinese export printed "Silver" mark. Beads are **graduated** in size from about 0.25" to about 0.33". Guaranteed authentic and old and NOT any type of modern repro and check out the pics and know that you won't be disappointed.

SIZE: About 24" long. Beads from 0.25" to 0.33".

MARKS: Clasp marked "Silver" in the early 20th century Chinese export manner. Appears otherwise unmarked.

AGE: An old estate piece from a very good Dallas estate. Guaranteed old and NOT a modern repro and I would date it to about 1900 - 1940.

CONDITION: Excellent condition on honest examination in strong light. Very light surface wear to the jade beads consistent with age, but NO chips, cracks, or hairlines. Knotted silk cord in excellent condition with no problems found. Silver-gilt clasp working fine and in excellent condition with no pings, dings, dents, or scratches. Overall, the pics are very honest and show the condition well and you won't be disappointed in the condition of this piece.
