Well Hello T and Thank you for looking at my goodies!
This is a wonderful condiment or jam pot with matching spoon and lid. It is a fine example of earlier Austrian pottery. It stands about 6 inches tall and about 5 inches at it's widest part. The raised design parts are yellow green and blue. The entire piece is covered inside and out with fine crazing. T is one small 1/8 inch round (shallow) chip on the inside lip - as seen in the pic with the lid off. Other that that the piece is whole and unbroken. The picture of the bottom should show the words Made in Austria and a stamp or makers mark in the shape of what I will *call* a shield. A very nice antique pot that you are sure to love and display. I am by no means an expert on Austrian pieces, so IF this isn't authentic then I'll eat my hat : O - now really - I will refund your $ and shipping both ways. I think this is a lovely piece that deserves to be loved and cherished (and dusted) far more then at my house : ) Let me know what YOU think! This wieghs in at 2 pounds so i will calculate priority shipping based on 3 pounds. I will pack ever so carefully with TLC, but PLEASE consider insurance on all your fine breakables. Questions?
