This is a gorgeous pair of antique saddle tapaderos! Beautiful wooden stirrups, four metal conchos, wonderful floral carving to the front and full basket weave pattern on the back. Many times the saddle maker would just carve a design on the front of the taps and leave the backs blank so these are extra fancy. Heavy SOLID taps measuring approx. 14" in length and 8" across at the widest part. No loose stitching anyw and just a few minor scuffs. If you're lucky enough to own a great old high back saddle or any great saddle and want to add a super pair of tapaderos, 's your chance. You just don't see them in this condition very often. The leather is in great condition with a deep chocolate brown patina to it. They're being offered with NO RESERVE so you may want to get in on the bidding. These also make an outstanding display piece as part of any western decor. NOTE: Please read the entire auction description and view all of the photos before bidding. I try and describe all of the items that I list to the best of my abilities. I am by no means an expert on anything and may overlook something that would be important to you as a buyer.
