OK you cowboy collectors up for auction is a great attic find, I have an old F.A. Meanea leather scabbard. Scabbard measures 35 1/4" long x 7 3/4" at widest end x 2 1/2" at smallest end. Scabbard was very dirty when I got it and I took a damp cloth and lightly wiped it off and it cleaned up good but still shows some wear and soiling , it could probably use a better cleaning then I gave it and has potential to look better. Leather is not dry and it's still flexible for the most part of it , about six inches from bottom t is some creases in leather from a bend. It also has some scuff marks and soiling and does show normal wear with age, use and storage. T are two metal rings built into scabbard along edge that are good. Scabbard has some tooled decoration along with 4 small flowers in corners. Guaranteed to be old and authentic and a great collectable. Buyer to pay actual shipping, I don't charge a handling fee.
