This auction is for a very old crock bowl. My Grandma used to have one this size that she called her Bread bowl.

This piece measures 5 3/4" tall and is over 10" wide. This is very thick and very heavy. This bowl is ringed on the sides with the actual bowl shape ribbed. T are peach and blue rings. This bowl is heavily crazed inside and out. The inside crazing is discolored the most inside top and near the bottom. I did not find any chips or cracks in this piece.

It is embossed on the bottom, I can make out the USA but can not make out what is on top of the USA.

Please note: these items are from the estate of a 100 year old woman. She was in the nursing home for 11 years, the items in her house were never touched during that time. Her sister, also unmarried lived with her until she passed, and a third sister moved in with them after she became widowed. This lady was the last one in her family. Some of the items we will be listing were her father's who passed in 1928. Most of the items are very old, and some do have an old musty odor, for example books and paper items. We want you to be aware of this before you buy.

Shipping: Your item will be shipped usually the next day after receiving payment. We try our very best to pack as carefully as possible. We are not responsible for what happens in the hands of the post office. We recommend that you purchase insurance for breakable or fragile items. If your purchase requires more than one box, the final cost of the item for insurance purposes is divided into the number of boxes you are receiving.

We will, WHENEVER POSSIBLE, combine shipping to save you on costs. Please realize that at times this isn't possible. I can not pack three boxes of items into one box. PLEASE READ: Do not pay THEN ask for a shipping discount. I will no longer refund shipping costs for people that do that. ASK FIRST BEFORE YOU PAY. If you want to speed pay the minute the auction is over we appreciate you greatly!!! BUT, again, do not pay THEN send a message that you would have rather preferred a different shipping method. When we invoice, we WILL OFFER YOU EVERY CHOICE AVAILABLE. We can't fix this if you pay before receiving the invoice.

We ship our books via Media Mail, UNLESS you specify differently. This does take 3 - 7 business days, but does cut your shipping costs in half. Our handling fee for Media Mail is $1.18 because the post office does charge a confirmation fee on Media Mail. Our handling fee for all other items is $1.50. I wish we didn't have to charge this, but bubble wrap, boxes and foam are costly products that we have to purchase to ship your item as carefully as we can to you.

Terms: All products are sold as is. We do our best to give you good quality pictures and to describe our items. We are constantly looking for unique items. We purchase most of our items at estate sales and auctions. We do not always know if the item came from a smoking environment. I try to find out if possible, and if I do know I list it. I am not sensitive to the matter and I don't detect it like some do. If an item coming from this kind of environment bothers you, Please do not bid . Some of the items we purchase have been stored for quite some time, occasionally for years. If I detect this "old" musty odor I put it on my listings. I'm sorry, 100 year old items DO smell old and musty. Be aware of this before you bid. Please send me a message if you have any questions. And we would appreciate you contacting us BEFORE leaving negative feedback. I see negative feedback ALL the time in which a person isn't happy and the seller knows nothing of the problem until they see the feedback. This isn't fair to either party. We are all human.
