These are vintage & original music guides from Detroit in 1964. They are in great shape & are aprox 4" x 6.5". You are bidding on both. These were given away by the Detroit radio staion every week to show the top songs of the week. I would look forward to getting these to see the movement of the songs & to see what new songs were coming out. These would be great to add to your record or Beatle collections. One is from March 19, 1964. The Beatles have the number 4 (Twist & Shout), number 9 (Can't Buy Me Love), & number 13 (She Loves You) songs. Can you imagine that today? What great times those were. Other artists on this one are Jan & Dean, Stevie Wonder, & the Beach Boys. Also on is Hello Dolly by Louis Armstrong. I find it amazing that this music was still going on once the Beatles took over the world. Neat diversity on this one. Album of the week on this one is Meet the Beatles at #1& Introducing the Beatles at #2. The second music guide is from Jan 7, 1965 & the number one song is Name Game from Shirley Ellis. Number 2 is Downtown by Petula Clark. Other artists on this one are the Gary Lewis & the Playboys, Righteous Bros, Temptations, Gerry & the Pacemakers & Dean Martin (?). And My Girl by the Temptations. The #1 album of the week is Beatles 65. Also check out my 1964 music guides from Toronto. Shipping on these will be read more
