Greetings. I am pleased to be able to offer this very old Ethiopian milk jug basket which has been decorated with leather, cowry shells, intricate wire work and made with calabash gourd pieces and has a small carrying handle. This container specimen comes from Ethiopia and measures 9 inches tall by 6 inches wide and is in excellent but slightly worn condition. This old jug was tribally used for a milk container and would be a perfect addition to any collector's treasure trove. Please feel free to email me for more pictures before buying.
