RARE VINTAGE FIESTA WARE #2 MIXING BOWL - LIGHT/ORIGINAL GREEN - $150 BOOK VALUE - EXCELLENT Up for auction , we have a highly coveted Fiesta Ware piece, the #2 mixing bowl in light or "original" green , and in near MINT condition . Measuring 4" x 5-7/8", this vintage bowl was made by Homer Laughlin only from 1936-1944 and this one has rings in the bottom which shows it was made before 1938. It is marked "Fiesta HLC USA", and has the bowl's size number "2" incised right under the Fiesta mark (see photo). This piece's book value in mint condition is up to $150 in light green ("Collector's Encyclopedia of Fiesta" by Bob and Sharon Huxford-2006 edition) so obviously this auction is a great deal for the discerning Fiesta Ware collector. Our bowl is completely free of any cracks, crazing, glaze skips, or other signs of wear. It does have a small chip its outside edge and some kiln marks on the bottom (see photos). Please note that seller will be auctioning a huge and spectacular lot of Fiesta Ware over the next few weeks. The couple who assembled this collection over a 30 year period only bought the best so lucky eBay bidders will have the chance to acquire some truly stunning pieces and lots.
