This beautiful candy box stands 7" tall , and is 6" square at the lid edges. The square base is 3.5 ". No cracks, nicks or chips are found. Although the photos make this box appear to be amber in color, it is crystal clear, and the yellow in the photo is from the lighting I used to photograph it . Tow corners of the pedestal base are somewhat rounded, but these to not appear to be repairs: more likely are from the molding process. They are as smooth as the rest of the piece, with no roughness at all. Gene Florence lists this piece at $37.50 in his 1997 Elegant Glassware of the Depression Era . I'm setting the opening bid far below that!
