This aution is for an elegant old SQUARE PEDESTAL CAKE STAND/PLATE. The glass is very heavy and thick. Small well in the center. The top measures 10 inches square and measures 7 inches from the bottom of the pedestal to the underside. T are no cracks, but upon inspecting it, I did notice a very slight rough edge on the corner on the underside bottom edge. I tried to show it in the last picture. However, it definitely does not take away from the beauty of this old piece. You do not see these that often anymore.This was gotten at an estate sale in North Carolina and the couple were married for50 years or so. I think I know the maker, (not an expert) but I am not listing it for I am not exactly sure. Just an elegant piece for you collectors. When we bought this I intended to keep it, but just running out of room! I have done my best to describe this item. However, I am selling antiques/vintage collectibles and what I see as normal aging, someone else may see as a flaw.
