Authentic Ko Hagi ( Old Hagi ware : http://www.aisf.or.jp/~jaanus/deta/h/hagiyaki.htm ), Kofuku ( Small-size ) Tsutsu-jawan ( Cylinder-shape tea bowl ) with signed wooden box (as "Ko Hagi Kofuku Jawan" / *picture#12 ), from early Edo period around mid-late 17th century. --- * Size : about D 4.12 x H 2.96 in (10.3 x 7.4 cm)

T his bowl is the great and rare example of the Museum-Quality Ko Hagi Tea ceremony ware even if you also understand by checking the pictures and comparing with the other similar pieces. The holding impression is so calm and comfortable as its small size, and very sophisticated as genuine Ko Hagi Kofuku Tsutsu-jawan of professional use. Its aged and great withering appearance clearly tells what "Wabi-Sabi" ( /wiki/Wabi-sabi ) is, and this bowl of tea master's favor will takes you next level at ceremony.
