squaretradetravelsealIo Old ivory brushpot about 5" in height (the pot itself). 10" if you include the wood stand.Nice thick piece of ivory. The wall of the brushpot is fairly thick.Diameter is 3.75".Circumference about 12".T are repairs done to the pot near the upper lip. If you don't like repair work, please do not bid. My feeling is, it was probably an interesting enough piece for some one to repair it. T is also a long age crack along the pot. I can't read the inscriptions. But if you can, you are welcome to email me and I'll post it.The scenery is not carved, but some kind of scrimshaw work. The chinese landscape is quite lovely.The ivory I'm pretty sure is antique. Lots of age in the color.Please look at my other items of ivories, and other asian items and auction catalogs.Shipping will be $15 for the US. International should be less than twice that.Insurance is optional. You may also have the option of having my nearby UPS store to pack and ship this.This item has a low starting price.
