This is an old Japanese gilded iron Tosa Inu or Japanese fighting dog. His finery needs to be restored, but his body is in great condition. I can supply some Japanese fabric on request to the buyer, if they wish to restore the piece. He is a large, heavy dog, standing 8 inches tall and 10 1/2 inches from head to tail. HE IS KANJI SIGNED!!! on his back flank.

If this is a best offer item, it does not have an end time, but is in my store. I do accept REASONABLE offers on many of my items. My mark-up is low and ebay and paypal fees add 15% of the final sale to my cost. Low ball offers cannot be considered and are not appreciated. Check my feedback and comparables on ebay and you will see that my pricing is already lower than most. I will also take off 15% if you use the BUY IT NOW feature on more than one item at a time, plus you will most likely save on the combined shipping as well...So the more you buy, the more you save!

Unless my items state they are new, many are vintage pieces. If they were perfect, I'd sell them as such. I don't try to guess on age, as some do, so I can only tell you what I know and give you the best description possible. Major flaws are always noted. I'm a terrible photographer, so excuse any blurry pictures :)

I do travel on my real job so check my store main page to see if t is any cause for delay in shipping. International shipping via parcel post can take 12-16 weeks; domestic shipping up to 10 days as these items are coming from Japan.

I DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS UNLESS YOU HAVE A FEEDBACK SCORE OF OVER 50....This is because dishonored checks cost money and they take 7-10 days to get and another 7-10 days to clear....I prefer paypal, money order or cashier check.

I happily combine shipping if you bid on and win more than one of my current auctions, w possible. Large items or those with packing issues that need to be packed separately are usually noted. Buyer pays actual shipping. You can click on the link "view seller's other items" for a complete list. I usually list my items to start on Sunday and end on Sunday, so if you see an item you want in the following weeks auctions, I will hold up shipping if you want to bid on another item. I only request that you pay for the first item at the time it is due. I will adjust shipping on the later auction. Buy it now shipping costs are approximated as t is no way I have of knowing your zip code before the auction is finalized.

BUYING MY ITEMS As part of your "contract" as a buyer, You are required to contact the seller, immediately after the auctions for payment and shipping arrangements. Failure to do so or honor your purchase can and will result in negative feedback. I hate to pester people so if you expect some delay in your payment or you're just still shopping, please let me know and I will work with you.

Insurance is always optional, but recommended and required on some pieces. I pack well, but I cannot be reponsible for breakage or loss by the USPS. Shipping costs are always an estimate at best, if the cost is within $1 of my estimate, no additonal charges will be made. If i over-estimate I will refund the difference over $1 to you if you have a paypal account.
