Please note this auction is for the beautiful Japanese original music box, It meausres 8" tall 13" long and 5.5" wide. It is quite large.......It is all hand painted with Mount Fugi in the back ground. When wound up the wheels on the rickshaw move, And it plays the most beautiful music. And it still has the key to it!!!!!!! The details are incredible!!!!!!!!! All other provenance will be photo copies, That I will include. In 1934 my great grandmother Hazel Mc. Cart sailed to Yokohama Japan with the E.K. Fernandez Wild West Rodeo Show, To give a grand performance before the Emperor Hirohito of Japan. She was commissioned by one of the Emperors dignitaries to come to Japan after seeing the show in Hawaii. He had never seen anything like that before and couldn't wait to get back to Japan to tell the story of what he had seen t The Emperor was so impressed at what he had heard he arranged for the SS Tokyo to bring the whole Rodeo to Japan. W she and the others gave a performance of a life time. She was given this beautiful Japanese laqure music box as a gift from the Emperor. It has been sealed in a trunk along with the newspaper articles, photos of the trip, and the exhibit map. The photos cant possibly capture all the beautiful details. This is an extremely RARE piece of history... I will include photo copies of all the photos in the listing. I have not put a reserve hoping only knowledgable and serious bidders will prevail !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please take a look at my other auctions>>>>>>>>>> I would be happy to combine shipping !!!!!!!!!!!!
