Europe Classic Dutch Clock Large and very nice shaped Zaanse clock. This one is of a very good quality. It measures approx.24 inches long, 10.5 inches wide and 6 .5inches depth.It contains a 8 day movement and it bells on the half and full hour. It is weight driven by two brass pear shaped weights. The clockwork is in good condition. It works perfectly. The clock was professionally cleaned and repaired recently. I will attach the receipt from last cleaning and repair. The casing is made from nut wood. On the top stands on large Atlas carrying the world on his shoulders, the world is made of brass. At the front, and side, part at the top is a mark which says "Nu elck syn sin" which is old Dutch and means something like "Now everybody gets what he wants". The image shown at the ornament at the top has also a special meaning, the figure at the left stands for belief, the figure in the middle for love and kindness and the right means hope. The pendulum is a man on a horse. It runs inside the casing through time. Priority shipping including insurance $49 dollar (5-10 days).
