Old and Large Beautiful Figurine " Horse Pair " by Karl Ens, Germany .............. Vintage ............... An old and beautiful large figurine of two horses galloping together made by Karl Ens, one of the oldest and famous porcelain makers in Germany. The dimension of this figurine is approximately : 9.5 inches (H) X 11 inches (L) X 4.5 inches (W). The old green logo of Karl Ens-Germany is stamped on the base of this figurine. The overall condition is very good, t is no chip and no repairment . Despite of the very good condition, I would like to note that if we watch this figurine closely, t are few hairline cracks. The first hairline runs from the under base to the right side, then continue to the upper base and stops beneath the right side of the bush. The other hairline runs from the left side of the base, continue to the upper base and stops beneath the left side of the bush. T is another hairline (about one inch) between the back left leg of the front horse and the bush and it seems to me that this hairline (which is under the glaze) is caused during the firing process. Please bid with confidence and I put a low reserve. Thanks for looking.
