up for auction is a vintage Louden Junior round hay barn fork carrier or trolley. this is a rare find, as they did not make many round barns. this carrier has trucks on them that pivot so that the carrier could follow a curved track around the end of the barn. it has a Sept. 10, 07 patent date on the track wheels. it is in pretty decent shape. everything either moves or pivots except the track wheels. i have oiled them up, but they probably will have to be taken apart and cleaned, maybe rework the bearings, and re-oiled. i see some wear to the guides for the track, and a few of the bolt nuts are badly pitted. but i do not see anything cracked. the trucks pivot back and forth, the whole carrier pivots all the way around, and the trip works. t is a heavy-duty home made wire hook on the one end. what a neat old hay carrier. please use the shipping calculator to the bottom to figure shipping charege via USPS Parcel Post with Delivery Confirmation. payment expected received within 10 days of end of auction. please visit my other auctions, and thanks for looking.
