8 inches from top to tip of tail, 4 1/4 inches wide. Clock is all complete, all original, runs strong, ticks loud and keeps time. Runs about 30 hours per winding. This style was one of the more attractive and interesting pendulettes. Dates from the 1930's. Cat's tail swings serving as the pendulum, and the cat's eyes move back and forth with the swinging of the tail. It's a fun clock to watch. Clock face is made of highly detailed pressed wood and has no chips or cracks. This cat pendulette was made in a few different colors. This one is black, with a seldom seen green bowtie, most of the black ones came with a red tie. T is a slight loss of white paint on the hands, and some loss of black paint on the tail. I would think a touch-up could be done easily if one chooses to do so. A key will be included. This strong running cute cat would make a great addition to any Lux/Keebler collection, or would be a nice decor piece in the home of any cat lover. Low starting bid, no reserve.
