is a beautiful and unusual old majolica plate. It measures about 7 3/8" in diameter. It is in excellent condition. T are no chips. T is some overall fine crazing. One the back side it appears that t are two very fine tight hairlines which extend about 1" in on opposite sides of the plate. They are virtually invisible from the front. As a matter of fact, I am not sure that they go through. The central vignette features a young woman and a little boy in a landscape, perhaps playing a game. Outside edge features various animals including pig, chicken, cat, duck, rabbit, goat, dog, etc. Mark on back looks like "botsy le roi" or "rot". Probably French. Definitely old. A great piece for your collection. The green in photos is a bit more vivid than in person due to bright outside light. NO RESERVE. Buyer pays $8.00 to cover shipping and insurance. Thanks.
