This auction is for one (1) original MASTER PLAN ink on linen drawing from the 1920s for what we believe is the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie double roundhouses and shops at McKees Rocks Pennsylvania. This is not a blueprint or a xerox type copy. This is the ORIGINAL MASTER PLAN hand drawn in ink on semi transparent linen and this is the original plan that would have been used to make the blueline blueprints. Master plans are the ones used to actually make blueprints or blacklines and would have been fed thru the blueprinting machines along with the blueprint paper. So if you have access to blueprinting equipment or a copy machine big enough to handle these masters you could make one or a hundred copies of this utterly impressive locomotive and backshops plan. Plan is in very good condition considering its age it is ROLLED and has NEVER been folded and would make wonderful blueprints or copies or could be framed as is. We will ship in a heavy tube and insured thru UPS, cost to ship as this plan will be $15 over the winning bid. We got this plan from a retired railroader along with some other P&LE plans and he swore it was McKees Rocks although t is no date or title on the plan. We think it's from the 1920s but could actually be much older than that. It's certainly not newer than that. Size of the plan is 37 inches top to bottm and 5 feet long unrolled. We already have this boxed up and ready to ship so if you pay by PayPal we will ship the same or next business day depending on when we receive your payment.
