This real photo postcard is unused. The process mark in the stamp box and the divided back date this circa 1907-1918. It is titled "2nd Prov. Reg. Camp~Fort Crocker Galveston Tex" . It is a Maurer photo and numbered 400 . Nice early view with the tents, soldiers, spectators and a trolley full of people. Card measures 5 3/8" x 3 1/2". Corners and edges are bumped and rubbed, bottom edge has light surface creasing, left edge bottom has a tiny spot, top left corner has a circle indentation noticable mainly in reflecting light and back has album paper and glue residue which has lightly buckled the paper. Good clarity but light~we darkened our top and bottom scans.
The words "danji" do not appear on the actual image. They are only on our scans to deter image theft. Scans are enlarged to show detail.
