Old Meerschaum Very Detailed Eagle Claw Pipe Signed

This is an incredible old meerschaum pipe. It is carved as a very detailed eagle claw holding the bowl of the pipe. I saw some new ones like this on Ebay and they do not have the elegance to the shape and carving that this one has. The piece is set with metal rims and the one on the bowl is marked J.H. I am not sure if the long mouthpiece goes with this pipe or not, but it was in with it and it can fit, so I included it. The mouthpiece has come apart in the section that has a cord wrapped spring. Just measuring the meerschaum part, the piece is slightly over 3 3/4 inches long. The bowl is about 2 1/2 inches tall. It is rather large. The metal ring around the mouth of the bowl has some dings on top and looks as if it might once have had a metal lid, but the meerschaum looks to be in good shape.
