Up for auction is a nice old southern city restaurant menu from New Orleans, La. It is from the Gumbo Shop, located at 630 St Peter Street. The front is embossed with a gold colored crab that the name and address is then printed on top of. Not sure of the exact age, but it looks like app 1950's, a boned Gulf Flounder stuffed with crab meat and shrimp was $2.75. The owner was Margaret Porpora. Check my other auctions for more menus, I purchased a collection of 100+ menus ranging from the 1940's through the 1960's and 70's. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED with a one week return period.
