Old Mexico BOWIE KNIFE SILVER Horn Handles ETCHED BLADE

The total length of this knife is 12 1/2". The blade is 8". The knife handle is made of SILVER and ANTLER HORN. The silver blade is etched. One side says "Mexico" "Rosita". The other side of the blade has an etched flower and "Made in Mexico " in etching. This super nice knife has a custom hand-made leather scabbord made by a very popular Saddle Shop in Sanger, California. The name of the shop is A & A SADDLERY, INC. These guys are famous in the central valley for their custom hand-made saddles, tack and leathery. The ROSITA name etched on the blade could possibly be a FISHING BOAT name as suggested by the owner of the saddle shop and he also guessed the age to be over 50 years old . The owner is a gun and cuttlery collector.
