Up for auction is an old Mintons majolica pottery figural cabbage leaf plate. The bottom has an impressed mark that reads "Mintons 5-30" and Mintons black world or globe mark of a crown and wreath and the word est. 1793. The overall glaze is yellow in color with green accents. T is crazing to the glaze, typical on older pieces of majolica. The rim has two small glaze chips along the side and numerous others along the outer border. They could be touched up if desired. Otherwise if you like to collect, old vintage English majolica by the world renowned Minton company, you will not be disappointed! The dimensions are a little more than 9" across the top by 1 and 1/4" tall. Please visit my other auctions for more vintage treasures and many thanks for looking!
