Old Native American Indian Silver & Turquoise Ring

Hi! Just a reminder that most of the items I sell are in used condition and as such most pieces will probably need a bit of cleaning and/or polishing. I usually do a light clean up looking for wear and flaws, but I try not to do too much as most collector's seem to prefer to clean the items themselves. I will list all flaws, including plate wear that I find, so please read the full description before buying as I have a tendency to babble a bit. Thanks so much for looking!

This is a very neat ring in overall excellent condition and it is quite old. This is a family piece and it came from my great grandfather who was an agent for the Pima Indian reservation in Arizona in the 1880's. I am not sure what tribe this was made by as my great grandfather was involved with a few other tribes and did travel around the west a bit while he was out t The ring is not marked, but then again I wore it quite a lot in the 70's so I may have worn off any markings t were. The center has a bezel set piece of dark green turquoise and t are symbols on the side. The ones that look like backwards swastika's were indian symbols (I believe for rolling logs) long before the Nazi's were even thought of(i took a lot of ribbing about that in high school, when I wore this so I definitely checked
