Vintage, c. 1940, Very Nice, Tightly Woven, Navajo "Eye Dazzler" Gallup Throw Rug.

Strong colors. Expert, tight weave. Symetrical and bold rug design.

A perfect "starter" Navajo rug for your collection, on your wall, over a space divider, or as a durable and beautiful rug.

In excellent condition overall.

Some bleeding; a removable stain; approx. 1" of selvage looseness; and 1"-2" of slight fraying on one end are the barely noticeable condition issues (see pictures). Only the rug-end of the tassels is intact on three of the rug's corners; one corner has the full tassel.

No holes; no moth nibbling; no rips; no exposed warp cords. The side and end selvage are tight and intact overall.

This is a fine, vintage Navajo "Eye Dazzler" Gallup throw rug. Circa 1940. A beauty.
