KO ORIBE KUTSU TEA BOWL - The great traditional masterpiece of Tea ceremony utensil from late Edo period - Authentic Ko Oribe ( Old Oribe ware : /guide/html/mino.html#oribe ), Kutsu Tea bowl ( Shoe-shape Tea bowl ) with a signed black wooden box (as "Oribe Tea bowl" ), from late Edo period around early-mid 19th century. --- * Size : about 6.68 x 5.44 x H 3.52 in (16.7 x 13.5 x 8.8 cm) The holding impression is large and dignified but calm, and its traditional intentional distorted appearance cause more individualities and 'imperfect' beauty as "Wabi-Sabi" ( /wiki/Wabi-sabi ).
