UP for auction is a very difficult to find Orrefors bowl, designed and signed by famous Swedish Glass maker and artist Sven Palmquist. This is a rather large piece measuring 13 1/2 inches in diameter by 5 3/4 inches high. It appears to be a sort of Amber Red color almost looking like a frost tint. The piece is signed by the artist on the bottom and the signature is etched into the glass. Also written on the bottom is "EXPO N.Y. 476-68" Orrefors is also etched on the bottom. For condition. T are no chips or cracks but t are many light surface scratches interior and exterior. You can not see them in the pictures but you can up close in person. We are hoping that the rarity of the piece on a collectors standpoint can outweight these flaws. Not many pieces like this become available to colors on a regular basis. If you are a serious art glass collector this would make a nice addition to your collection. Unflawed pieces can bring in the high hundreds of dollars a piece. The size and color are very nice for this work. The piece is very heavy. Shipping is $20.00 in the lower 48 United States. Illinois residents please add 7.5% for state sales tax.
