A hospital room in Cairo,1979. T are several people in the room, Doctors, family members, standing silent vigil over a man on his deathbed. He is sixty years old. He is no ordinary patient. He was once the ruler of Persia. After he was forced into exile in 1979, he went from country to country, but no one would give him asylum. He went to Egypt first, then Morocco, the Bahamas, the United States, then Panama, and finally back to Egypt, dying of Cancer. At his one-hundred million dollar party, in 1971, dignitaries from all over the planet raised glasses to him. Now, an exile, few people wanted anything to do with him. He died in a hospital room in a foreign country. The little bowl I am offering came from the period of his reign in Persia. I believe the bowl was made in, or after 1967. The bottom of the bowl is a silver coin from his reign, showing his profile. The bowl is about 2-3/4 inches wide. The bowl itself is unmarked, but a jweweler told me that it may be 80% silver. I accept checks and Money~Orders. Shipping charges will depend on your zip. Thanks for looking! Michael
