PORCELAIN RED CROWN GASOLINE ADVERTISING SIGN ~ OLD An old original porcelain front sign measuring 11- 1/2 "across with 4 pre drilled holes for hanging. T is old bailing wirethrough the holes which can easily be removed if desired. Sign shows good red and navy blue color with the Crown logo. Has about twelve or so various sized dings w bullets met their mark, and 1 hole the worst of which has hit the center area of the crown. Shows some edge rust, and edge nicks, rust around holes and stains, blotchy discoloration. Back is gray metal without marks and without porcelain. Weight is 1 lb 6 oz prepackaged. I'm not sure of age, probably 1930s 40s, perhaps earlier.
