This is a n early 1900's postcard from Virginia titled: STURGEON BOAT AT WACHAPREAGUE, VA... It pictures three fellows / watermen / fishermen along the shoreline at Wachapreague, Va. Two are standing in the boat. One has a large Sturgeon along side the boat. T is one standing outside of the boat. The card is used and is postmarked Wachapreague, Va., SEP. 2, 1931. It is in nice condition with minor wear on the corner tips. A nice Eastern Shore postcard. Wachapreague is located on Va's Eastern Shore. It is north of Cape Charles, Cheriton, Eastville, Exmore and is south of Onancock, Onley, Tasley, Parksley and Chincoteague. If you collect old postcards, fish / fishing / Sturgeon related items, Wachapreague items or items from the Eastern Shore of VA. / VIRGINIA then you might like this card for your collection.
