Purchased recently at an Estate Sale, this NO RESERVE auction features a fabulous large Dresden Figurine. It measures 10" tall x 8" at the base. The bottom of the piece has the Dresden Mark. This is an incredible detailed figurine that has everything going for it! The woman has hand painted features, brown brows,blue eyes with upper black and orange accented eyeliner, open defined lips with blushed cheeks. Brown long curly hair with gold beading near the bang area. She has a hat on the top of her head with 2 molded feathers in the colors of deep blue and burgundy. Her dress is low cut with pink ruffled lace. T is an applied yellow rose in the center of the chest. She has layers of pink ruffled lace on her arm areas including 2 rows of ruffled pink lace on the bottom of her dress. T is a painted floral design in the center of her dress followed by white swags & bows. Applied lilac flowers are under each bow. I don't see any broken lace. This lovely woman is looking over her right shoulder at a colorful parrot who is perched on her right elbow. He has such detail in his face and feathers. It appears that the tips of his lower feathers are missing. The woman is hold a large instrument on her left arm. Her finger look like she is in the midst of playing to the parrot who looks content!
