A vintage or antique child's toy top with primitive worn red paint & metal ball tip. A lovely old prim type wood top toy for a child, with barely-present worn red paint. This is the old type of spin top used with a string. It features a good-sized metal tack on top, probably for attaching the end of the string, and has some holes (this was also likely used to attach end of string) with grooves on the side for winding a string evenly. Lovely worn old paint, dates somew between the Victorian era & the late 1950s, we're not sure of the exact age. A great find for primitive & folk art and children's toy collectors! This wonderful primitive type old wooden toy is in AS FOUND condition as shown.
