Hi folks, the fall season is starting up and I have a good number of old knives to sell between now and the holidays. So, check out my other items and bookmark my listings, I will be listing old knives weekly and many of them are of high-end collector grade quality. The knife for sale in this auction is: Remington RS 4783 Official Boy Scout Knife. Tang mark is Remington UMC inside the circle with Made in USA on the outside. Knife dates 1926-1933. It is in high excellent to near mint condition with a full and easily readable blade etch. Good snap on all three blades. Bone handles are perfect; no wear, no cracks, no chips. When I first acquired this knife, the bail was missing (as the pictures show). Well, I pawed thru my junk and found a piece of nickel silver rod and I jury-rigged up a bail out in the shop. The last pic shows the knife with bail attached. Be aware that it is a homemade replacement and not original before you bid. Easy to take off if you have an original to replace it or if you just don't like this one. Please ask questions if you need anything clarified further. Thanks for looking.
