OLD RUSSIAN/GREEK ORTHODOX BRASS/BRONZE MEDALLION Presented is a fine old Russian or Greek Orthodox medallion. The medallion depicts Mary and Jesus at the center with other figures on either side. The rest of the medallion is decorated with Greek letters and religious symbols. This medallion was part of an old collection. We believe that it was made in the 1700s or 1800s. It was probably made in Russia or possibly Greece. The condition is excellent. T are no splits, no breaks, and no repairs. The medallion is 2 1/2 inches in diameter.
