's a very nice pair or set of vintage ornate porcelain lamp bases. These are relatively large and feature figures, floral decoratives and other details. These have markings as we show in the pictures with the maker's mark being an "N" within somewhat of a broken circle. Not sure of the maker but would say either European or perhaps Japan as the place of origin. I'd guess 1930's to 40's, perhaps as late as the 50's on these as far as age or vintage goes. They are about 14.5 inches high, 9 inches wide and about 6.5 inches deep. Detailing is elaborate with hand painting. One of the lamp bases seems to be without issues to note. The other one has two minor issues or flaws to note. The first could be easily overlooked as it pertains to the small winged cherub or angel flying with a bowl in hands. This cherub has a small wing on the first lamp base but seems to be missing the wing on the second. Also on the second t is a small surface chip or flake at the upper crown or top on the inside edge. Both these details aren't easily noticed or detractive but we'll mention them and show them in the pictures. Overall, a very nice set of delicately detailed art porcelain lamp bases. That's about it. We'll pack these very carefully. When packed this pair of old or vintage large lamp bases will weigh about 18 lbs so we'll use USPS Parcel Post service as the lowest cost postal service alternative to the domestic US buyer. We have no packing or handling charge. Extra cost USPS postal services like Postal Insurance, Tracking, or Upgraded postal services are easily available should the winning bidder wish to make arrangements . This item is for sale within the US only, sorry no exceptions. Please let us know if t are any questions.
