This old set of seven barber razors remains in its original case. It is 7 1/4" X 3 3/4" X 1 1/4". It is an embossed leather case that looks like brown lizard skin. T are gold lettered initials on the lid, "H. C." A metal push button opens the lid, which works perfectly. Pale green velvet lines the case which is imprinted and stained from the blades. T is a 1 1/2" tear at the opening fold. On the right side of the case are gold letters for the seven days of the week, S, M ,T, W, T, F, S. Each blade is held in place by its individual slot, and they all have yellow plastic handles, which I believe is celluloid. Six of the blades are identical, and are marked "Dannemora Gjustal" at the top. On the blade itself is an arrow with"JE" and "1874." T is much writing and dates toward the handle of the blade: "Paris 1889, 1878 Joh Engstrom, 1876, Philadelphia, Sverige 1878, 1881, Eskilstuna, Medailler 1876." The odd blade is merely marked, "Warranted." It is in very good condition for its age, and a special item for a special collector. Please see my other barber auctions. Thank you for looking.
