I purchased this Mantel Clock at an estate sale and I know nothing about these things so I'll try to describe this as best I can. This is a "Seth Thomas, Eight Day Half Hour Strike" Mantel Clock and I believe these are called "Gingerbread" Clocks. It works OK and keeps exellent time but is missing the key and the dial. I have the hands, the pendelum with fine adjustment on it, and the metal backing plate. The case is in beautifull condition with some nice ornate carvings in the wood case, but it's missing whatever ornament went on to it's top. On the front of the movement it's stamped "5 7/8--Pat'd Dec.29, 1875". Buyer pays shipping. I accept money orders, checks and Paypal and ship worldwide via USPS.
