Gorgeous dark, thick cobalt is on this pitcher, with shiny, off-white background. It's hard to find this pitcher without chips or cracks in the spout and rim, but this one has escaped damage. It does have general overall age crazing of the glaze visible in the white background only, and three cobalt paint stain/smudges (depicted in my photos, one above Sleepy Eye's head, and he's looking upward at the other 2). The inside bottom has quite a bit of staining (also pictured). This pitcher stands 8" tall at the spout and is 6" diameter at the base. It's the genuine article, made by by Western Stoneware of Monmouth, Illinois, dating from the early 1900's. Feel free to e-mail with any questions. Thanks for looking!
