OLD Sterling MASONIC RING -Job's Daughters IYOB FILIAE! Size 6.25! 3.8 grams NO RESERVE! This auction is for a STERLING SILVER RING with an emblem that reads IYOB FILIAE. The inside of the band is marked "Spies Bros.-Sterling".(see close up below.) This is a MASONIC ring for a young women's youth group called JOB'S DAUGHTERS. According to the website: "The International Order of JOB'S Daughters is one of today's outstanding character-building organizations for young women, ages 10 - 20, who are related to a Master Mason. Its activities provide opportunities for young women to develop confidence, good character, life-long friendships, moral and spiritual values, and leadership abilities -- and to have a lot of fun along the way. JOB'S DAUGHTERS teaches the time-tested principles of respect for parents and home, loyalty to flag and country, and reverence for God". This is a vintage ring that comes from an estate buy, that probably dates from the 1940's or later. The ring is in the round and shows only slight scratching. It weighs 3.8 grams and is a size 6.25 and the face of the ring measures about 3/8" tall by .5" wide. This is a great ring that would be wonderful to wear or add to your collection ....makes a wonderful gift too! Silver and gold are going up daily.....this would be a nice investment piece!
